? 28 female 25 male treated
? 31 females 5 males came in with people who have been injured or needed to have a talk.
? 3 females 8 males came in to have a talk
? Saving taxpayers a lot of money
? What sort of incidents have people had?
? Accidents whilst intoxicated 1 or 2 broken noses,
? Paramedics have been very helpful
? Target 10.3 people per weekend
? QA not as many people now maybe due to safe space at the moment
? Using police Pbcrp said they would give a radio at a discounted rate at ?2 a week, and waver the members fee.

Police Update/Student Update

? No major issues although there has been a 100% increase in admissions at the hospitals, no major incidents thou
? Any changes?
? Police presence has been very helpful fresher week seemed to run ok.
? More issues union with locals trying to get in
? Students this year seem to mix better with locals
? A lot more people getting out of taxi with drinks still in hand
? Need to find away to work with university about preloading
? They do have a session at the union when they first start about preloading and how to act around Portsmouth
? Other issues doesn?t help when house masters are setting bad example
? Asda are they doing responsible retail.
? There has been a lot of focus on students a lot of negative press, recently councillor will not listen so will have to throw a positive spin on the licensing,
? Councillor ?there for the people? did say if there is one more incident, what local councillors are saying not to do with police.

? Alan alcohol related admissions have reduced

? Carnage have said venues will complain with a few rules
? Free non alcoholic drinks
? Discounted food
? Venues will patrol area near to.
? No discounted drinks
? Problems last time, police will have to take full details
? Safe space not be able to open, carnage will not make any sort of contribution, they provide stewards, and medical, last year only saw 10 people.
? Government dos and don?ts will be published soon for promoters.
? Liquid and Yates will donate door staff for safe space
? Suffestion could the venues put up signs saying dnt drink on the streets, they will be fined etc, trying to stop pre loading.
? As venue managers maybe go talk to the students a combined effort. They just wont to have fun they don?t know any bettoer
? Would be good positive PR, go in as pubwatch and have representatives from council, target the head of teams etc.
? If we work together as a team we each know people from different societies, if we label as pubwatch

? Smaller pubs have improved thanks to san and fire service who have worked with them to get accreditations, bring up the standards of the little venues
? Individual feedbacks get in contact with san.

? No info from council, test purchasing young person using fake id for door staff, if we can get them into the venue, borrowed id as well, will not be used at the bar, once it has been ceased game over, mainly looking at Southsea 8 last time 6 failed pubs on there own
